Here is a short and sweet workout that will get your heart rate up and hold it up for several minutes with a two minute rest. Repeated three to five times and you've got a high intensity workout that opens up your lungs, burns fat and gets you in and out of the gym quick!

half  mile warm up
half mile interval accelerating  every 45 seconds*
10 Burpees
10 Push Ups (on knees is ok)
25 Crunches

Rest 2 minutes

Repeat interval, burpees, push ups and crunches three to five times.
*The interval increases in speed, reaching a perceived fast pace.
