Why I started this blog
First of all, I wasn’t always healthy or fit. I was once a compulsive dieter, obsessed with anything that sounded like it could help me lose a little weight.
I drank more diet soda than anyone I knew. I counted calories like it was my job. I avoided fat like the plague. I craved sugar non-stop. I worked out all the time.
I was miserable.
Then I got sick. Really sick. But it was the best thing that ever happened to me. A light bulb went on that showed me how everything I was putting in was working against my health.
Health? What’s that? I had to teach myself how to eat foods that nourished my body, worked properly with my metabolism and gave me the energy that I needed. It worked! You can learn more about me here, but for now, I want to focus on you.
