The Plant-Based Meal Plan

Six weeks of plants, and not one lecture about it.

Six weeks of meals designed to calm inflammation and feed the bacteria in your gut that do a surprising amount of work for your hormones. Breakfast through snacks, all of it mapped out. You don't have to become a vegan. You just have to eat this way for six weeks and notice what happens.

What it's doing

Why six weeks of plants changes how you feel.

Not because plants are magic and not because meat is evil. Because of fiber, mostly, and because of what fiber feeds.

It quiets inflammation

Inflammation is behind a lot of what women blame on age. The stiff mornings, the puffiness, the joints that announce the weather. Six weeks of this kind of eating turns the volume right down.

It feeds your gut bacteria

Your gut microbes help process and clear estrogen. Feed them badly and that job gets sloppy, which matters enormously during perimenopause and after.

It's balanced, not thin

Protein, carbohydrate and fat all accounted for, without animal products. You won't be hungry and you won't be living on lettuce.

It gives you structure

Six weeks of decisions already made. That's most of why it works, honestly. Nobody fails at this because they don't know kale is good for them.

What you get

What's in it.

Six weeks of food

Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, laid out day by day so you're not improvising when you're already hungry.

Recipes with photos

Ingredients, directions, and a picture of what it should look like. Nothing needing an obscure ingredient or an hour you don't have.

In their words

Women who've done it

★★★★★

I'm down 5 pounds in 10 days. The best part is I'm fitting into skirts and shorts I haven't worn in years. I can't believe how great I feel.

★★★★★

This plan has worked so well for me in keeping the 35 pounds off I lost last year. I love that I can come back to it over and over again and feel healthy.

★★★★★

I followed the meal plan, cut down my alcohol, worked out 30 minutes before work, and the weight slipped off. My blood pressure got better and my energy is up.

I'm 52, I have three kids, I run, and I'm in better shape than I was at 30. I eat like this a lot of the time, not all of it, and I'm not remotely interested in policing what anybody puts on their plate. I just know what six weeks of proper plant food does to how a woman feels, and it's worth six weeks finding out.

Fair questions

Things women ask first

Do I have to go vegan forever?
No, and most women don't. Six weeks is long enough for the difference to be unmistakable, and it's still a finite thing with an end date you can see. Plenty of people keep a handful of the recipes afterwards and go back to eating however they like.
Will I get enough protein?
Yes. This is where everybody gets nervous and it's mostly unfounded. The plan is built around legumes, soy, grains, nuts and seeds, and it's balanced deliberately. You will not be wandering around weak and deficient after six weeks of beans and lentils.
Is this a cleanse or a detox?
No. Your liver and kidneys handle that and they don't need a product from me. This is just food that gives those organs better raw material to work with, which is the boring and accurate version of what other people dress up as a detox.
Am I cooking every night?
No. Things repeat and carry over, the way real people actually eat. Nobody is cooking forty-two separate dinners and nobody should.
What if I have a medical condition?
Run it past your own physician first, particularly if you're managing kidney disease, diabetes, or taking medication that interacts with vitamin K or potassium. That's not me being cautious for the sake of it. It's genuinely worth a five minute conversation.

If six weeks turns out to be a start rather than a finish.

Some women run this plan, feel great, and that's the whole story. Others get to the end and want to understand what actually happened and what to do next.

That's what Healthy, Happy Hormones is for. Live coaching with me every week, a small group of women in the same stretch of life, new plans on an ongoing basis, and workouts built for you. It's there when you want it. This plan stands on its own if you don't.
