Healthy, Happy Hormones

I'd love to sell you a magic powder. Unfortunately I know too much.

So instead you get me, every week, answering the questions nobody had fifteen spare minutes to answer. Plus workouts built for your actual body, a meal plan that shows up Friday whether or not you've been good, and a small group of women in the same stretch of life who will not let you sit in this alone. That's the whole pitch.

Your first day

So what actually happens when you sign up?

No maze, no drip sequence that takes three weeks to hand you anything useful. Here's the order it happens in.

  1. A great big hello from meAn actual one, from an actual person. You'll know a human is on the other end of this.
  2. A welcome email with two quick things to doA short waiver, and a few questions so I actually know who you are and what you're chasing. Ten minutes, then you're done with forms for good.
  3. The date of the next Zoom meetupSo you know exactly when you can put your hand up and ask me something.
  4. Your invitation to the groupWhere the women already in this will say hello, usually within the hour.
  5. Your first meal planStraight away, or shortly after, depending where you land in the week. Recipes and shopping list included.
  6. Access to everything elseThe full library, the trackers, the worksheets, the workout tool. All of it, unlocked, from the start.

Why I built this

Your confusion is somebody's revenue model.

Take an honest look at what got aimed at you this week.

  • Four supplements for cortisol, because cortisol is the new gluten and everybody's got a powder for it.
  • A "microdose" of a diabetes drug, rebranded as metabolic support and sold to you by a company that never once asked to see your labs.
  • Fast until noon. No, never fast, fasting ruins women. Both from women with excellent lighting.
  • Somebody insisting you need 190 grams of protein a day. Have you ever tried to eat 190 grams of protein? It's a part time job and you will be sick of chicken by Thursday.
  • An appointment that ended before you got to the thing you were actually worried about.

So you buy something. It does nothing. You quietly decide the problem must be you, because everyone else seems to have figured it out.

You are not the problem. You keep getting handed products when what you needed was an explanation, and only one of those comes with a subscribe-and-save you'll forget to cancel.

Here's what I actually think. Wherever you are in this, still cycling, somewhere in the messy middle, or years past your last period, none of it is a malfunction that requires a purchase. It's a hormonal shift with about forty knock-on effects nobody warned you about, and once you understand which effect is doing what, most of this stops feeling like sabotage and starts feeling like information.

And none of this is your doctor's fault.

I want to be clear about that, because there's a whole cottage industry built on telling women their physician is the enemy, and I'm not joining it. I refer to doctors constantly. I like doctors.

Yours is carrying a panel of a couple thousand patients in fifteen minute slots. There is no version of that appointment where she also walks you through what dropping estrogen is doing to your bone density, your sleep architecture, your ferritin and your patience with your own family. She doesn't have the minutes. I have the minutes. Roughly speaking, that's my entire job.

So a decent chunk of what happens in here is getting you into that appointment knowing exactly what to ask for and what to have tested. You'd be amazed how differently those fifteen minutes go when you walk in prepared.

What you're actually joining

Less of a plan, more of a standing weekly appointment.

Think of it as a weekly helping hand for the whole thing, not just the food. Meal plans and shopping lists. Exercise built for you. The community. All the tools. And me, live, answering whatever came up this week, including the ad for the shot you saw twice on your way here.

Nobody's assigning you homework. There's no day one and no week six, so there's nothing to fall behind on and nothing to feel guilty about when your kid gets strep or work eats a month. You're joining a group of women getting a bit stronger every week, with real tools, real goals, and somebody qualified in the room.

Live with me, every week

On Zoom, and you'll get the schedule the minute you're in. Ask the thing you would never put in a Facebook group. Somebody always brings up night sweats or a new smell and I promise you nobody flinches. Stay ten minutes or stay the hour.

A private group that lives where everything else does

It's on my site, behind your login, so there's no second app to download and nobody outside can find it. No toxic cheerfulness, nobody telling you to manifest anything. Small enough that people notice when you go quiet, and some of these women are months ahead of you and remember precisely how your week felt.

Friday, your meal plan lands

Recipes, shopping list, done. Nothing to log, nothing to weigh, no math while you're standing in the kitchen at 6pm wondering how it got to be 6pm again.

Workouts with your name on them

I built a training tool that lives on my site and it builds your workouts around your body, your equipment and what you're chasing. Nobody hands you the same PDF everyone else got. I'm 53 and trying to get faster, so I know what builds strength at this age and what just leaves you sore and stalled.

The library, and every tool in it

This is the part women underestimate right up until it's 2am and they can't sleep and they want an actual answer.

There are lessons on nearly everything that comes up in this stretch of life. The 3am wake-ups. The rage that shows up over a dishwasher. Blood sugar, ferritin, thyroid, bone density, histamine, cortisol, gut, joints, skin, muscle, the fog that loses a word mid-sentence, and what alcohol started doing to you somewhere around 46.

And it isn't only watching. Almost every topic comes with something you can put to work that day. Printable worksheets. Symptom and pattern trackers so you stop relying on memory. Food swap lists. Checklists. The lab-and-question sheets you can take into an appointment so you're not trying to recall your own life while somebody's looking at a screen.

Nothing's locked, nothing's sequenced, nothing expires. New lessons show up as new questions show up, because this stretch of life keeps producing them. Go straight to whatever's happening to you this month, at whatever hour you happen to be awake.

Numbers, if you want them

Your own dashboard, updated every couple of weeks. Weight if weight is your thing. Energy, sleep and mood if you'd rather, which is where a surprising number of women land once they've been here a while.

Should you be in here?

Probably, if

  • You'd rather understand what's happening than just turn the volume down on it
  • You're willing to change a few habits, because that's the part that actually works
  • You want supplements talked about honestly, with the evidence, by somebody who isn't selling any
  • You want a straight answer about GLP-1s, microdosing included, from somebody who isn't selling one of those either
  • You've spent real money on things that did nothing and you're finished doing that
  • You want a qualified human you can actually ask, every single week
  • Getting strong sounds better to you right now than getting smaller
  • You'd like some company from women in the same stretch of life

Probably not, if

  • You want this handled in 30 days and then never thought about again
  • You want a shopping list of supplements and nothing about your week to change
  • You're drawn to whatever's trending, and the bigger the promise the better
  • You'd rather I prescribe something than teach you how any of it works
  • You're hoping somebody will tell you to skip your doctor

In their words

Women I've worked with

I recently hit 20 lbs gone forever and now have new goals. I finally feel in control of the food noise and actually want to eat this way forever.

Karen W., 47

Beyond the physical changes, I feel like a better and healthier version of myself. Traci's holistic approach has truly transformed my lifestyle and well-being.

Tracy B., 50

I'm 64. I'd been told weight loss was nearly impossible for women my age. After 3 months with Traci, I lost 22 pounds and my knees don't hurt.

Claire P., 64

Who you'd be joining

Hi, I'm Traci. I already did this the stupid way, so you don't have to.

I'm 53. Chicago. Husband, three kids, a running habit and a chocolate habit I have no intention of quitting. I'm currently trying to get faster in my fifties, which I'm told is not really how it works, and which is going quite well.

Now the part that qualifies me more than any of the letters after my name.

At 27 I had a stroke. Not long after, I picked up necrotizing fasciitis, which is the flesh-eating one, and yes, it is exactly as unpleasant as it sounds. I spent a long stretch of my twenties frightened and asking enormous questions in nine minute appointments. I also spent that decade doing everything I was certain was healthy while quietly wrecking myself. Fat-free everything. Diet soda by the case. Exercise as a form of penance. I called it discipline. It was not discipline.

So I went and got properly educated. Mayo Clinic certified health and wellness coach. Nationally board certified through the NBHWC. An MS in Health and Nutrition Education, and certified in lifestyle medicine coaching. I wrote The Belly Burn Plan for HarperCollins. I've been doing this work for over twenty years, which is long enough to have watched four or five miracle solutions come and go. I've spent years on television talking about this work, which mostly taught me how to make a complicated thing make sense in ninety seconds.

More than a thousand women have come through this transition with me. I don't sell supplements, I don't sell injections, and I don't have an affiliate code, which means when I tell you something's a cash grab there's nothing in it for me. It's a cash grab more often than not, and being the person who has to keep saying so is genuinely tiring for both of us.

You're in immediately. No waiting for a start date.

For context, an hour with a coach holding my credentials runs $200 to $500, and a trainer is $100 to $300 a session. I'm aware of how this looks beside a $19 app. The $19 app is also never going to get on a call and answer you out loud.

Fair questions

Things women ask me first

Can I start whenever?
Yes. No start dates, no cohorts, nothing to wait around for. You join and you're at this week's call. Your hormones aren't holding for a launch date, so neither is this.
Will I be behind everybody else?
There's nothing to be behind on. None of it is sequenced and none of it expires. Some women have been with me a while, some joined yesterday, and everybody's in the same room asking the same things.
Does this replace my doctor?
Absolutely not, and I'd side-eye anyone who told you otherwise. I coach and I teach. I don't diagnose, I don't prescribe, and I will never tell you to stop a treatment. What I do is fill in the education your physician has no time to deliver, then send you back in there able to advocate for yourself.
Do you sell supplements?
No, and I don't take affiliate money either. I talk about supplements constantly though, because you're being marketed to constantly and you deserve to know what the research actually says. Some of it is worth your money. Most of it isn't. Either way I'll tell you to get the labs first and run it past your own doctor, because guessing is expensive and occasionally a bad idea.
Should I be microdosing a GLP-1?
I'm not going to tell you yes and I'm not going to scare you off it either, because both of those answers are being sold to you by people with something to gain. Here's mine. It's a real drug with real uses, and the decision belongs with a physician who has your labs in front of her, not with a telehealth ad that skipped that step. No coaching program should be the thing that talks you into it or out of it, and this one won't. What I will tell you is what the ad left out. A smaller dose is still the drug, it still needs a doctor watching it, and it does not teach you how to eat, lift, sleep or keep muscle. Those are the things that decide whether it works and what you look and feel like afterward, and they're exactly what we work on in here, with or without a prescription.
What if I'm already on HRT, or a GLP-1?
Come on in. That's between you and your physician and I'm not going to litigate it with you. What I'll do is help you eat, lift, sleep and recover in a way that makes whatever you're doing work better, because none of those medications work as well on a badly fed, badly slept body.
What sort of results do women get?
The ones that last, because the behaviors changed, not because they white-knuckled a diet for eight weeks. Women who stay engaged eat differently without tracking, sleep through the night, get stronger, and stop thinking about food all day. The scale moves with that, and so does the waistband, because a body that's fueled, rested and building muscle stops holding onto weight around the middle. What women actually email me about is the morning they woke up and felt like themselves. Set a goal when you join, track it, show up. Showing up turns out to be the entire secret, which is annoying but true.
What if I can't make the live calls?
Send me your question ahead of time and I'll answer it on the call, or ask it in the group and either I or somebody who's been here a while will get to it. The community is genuinely useful between calls, which is not something I say about most online groups.
Can I cancel?
Whenever you like. No contract, no minimum, no exit survey designed to make you feel bad. Stay while it's useful to you.

There's a seat on the next call. It's yours.

Does any of this sound familiar?

Answer honestly. At the end I'll tell you what you're actually describing, which is usually not what women get told it is.

Here's what I think is actually going on

This is more common than you've been led to believe

And underneath it, here's the mechanical part. Not because the mechanics are the point, but because knowing why something is happening is what finally makes it stop feeling like your fault.

Here's the part nobody tells you. Almost everything you just ticked responds to the same handful of levers. What you eat and when. How you move and how hard. Sleep. Stress. And having people around you who understand it, which sounds like the soft one until it's the only reason you're still going in week nine.

That's what Healthy, Happy Hormones is. Live coaching every week, meal plans and workouts built for the body you have now, a room full of women in the same stretch of life, and the education you should have had decades ago.

This is educational, not a diagnosis. Nothing here replaces a conversation with your own doctor.
